Otter

Otter is digital note-taking tool that is currently included within accommodation letters.  Currently, this paid tool is only available to students with approved disability accomodations. 

Faculty may notice Otter.ai in use by students who were expressly approved for this tool as part of their disability accommodations. What is Otter.ai? Otter provides synchronized audio recordings and written transcripts of lectures, study sessions, and virtual sessions. Its AI enhancements include meeting summaries, transcript queries otter and content analysis. ADR’s limited-quantity Enterprise licenses provide top-level administrative controls over the retention of recording data, limitation of automatic note sharing, and feature activation/deactivation, suitable for our institution’s security.
