Learn About Our Faculty Development Course Series
Scope: We provide free courses for all Pima faculty - including face-to-face, hybrid, and online instructors at Pima Community College. These short, 3-week, 4-week and 5-week courses are designed to expand your online pedagogy, course design and web-enhanced teaching skills using D2L Brightspace and third-party tools.
Certification: Our introductory courses progress from TE125 to TE150, and culminate in TEACH-level ,and then BUILD-level certification. Our intermediate and advanced LEAD courses generally require TEACH or BUILD certification as a prerequisite. Faculty who successfully complete both LEAD 175 and three additional LEAD courses achieve our highest level LEAD certification.
