What are our introductory courses?

TE125 TEACH: Introduction to Online Pedagogy

To teach a fully-online course, Pima faculty need to attain PCC certification by completing the PimaOnline TE125 TEACH Level Certification course. The purpose of TE125 TEACH course is to provide Pima Community College Faculty members the tools and resources to effectively teach and facilitate a master copy course using the college's learning management system D2L Brightspace. While this course does not certify faculty to build and create their own courses, it does guide and demonstrate for faculty how to enhance and personalize a master course. By completing this course, participants are also able to enroll in our course that provides our next level of D2L Certification: TE150 BUILD.

TE150 BUILD: Introduction to Instructional Design

The purpose of this course is to provide Pima Community College Faculty members the tools and resources to effectively build and facilitate their own online course using the college's learning management system D2L Brightspace. By successfully completing this course, faculty are certified to build and create their own online courses for Pima Community College. To enroll in this class, participants must first successfully complete TE125 TEACH.
