A high level of contrast between text colors and the background color not only assists students who have trouble seeing contrast or are color blind, but assists ALL students in more easily reading course materials.
Use:
Black text on a white or very light background
Dark text on a white or very light background
White text on a dark background (use sparingly and only if the text is not too small)
Dark colors on a white background work well. Judge yourself how readable these different colors are.
D2L Brightspace provides helpful information regarding the accessibility of the level of contrast between your widget Titlebar text and background colors. See the Getting Started User Guide for more information.
