Teaching at HSIs

On November 2, 2022, Dr. Gina Ann Garcia was a featured keynote at our PimaOnline Educators Conference (2022), and her talk focused on "Centering Student Voices at Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs)." See this keynote preview in which she speaks with Reed Dickson about Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), how we can go beyond the HSI federal designation, and how educators and students can engage in the question of what it means to be an HSI. 

Her book, Becoming Hispanic-Serving Institutions: Opportunities for Colleges and Universities, was also selected as a shared faculty reading following the conference.
