HTML Templates for D2L Brightspace

Why use HTML Templates in D2L Brightspace?

• Beauty & Accessibility.  HTML templates can provide beautiful layouts that ensure accessibility (e.g. using appropriate header classes for screenreaders, ensuring appropriate color contrast, etc.).  HTML templates allow you to create and stylize "content" within any section of D2L Brightspace that includes an HTML Editor.  

• Codeless Design.  These templates can be used effectively without knowing how to write HTML code (within D2L's source code editor). 

Where can I find other responsive, accessible HTML Templates that allow me to create content without having to write code?

• Here at Pima.  As of May 2022, Pima Community College is working on strategies to safely share PCC course templates within D2L's Learning Object Repository (LOR) beyond PimaOnline Course Masters.   Once available, this page will either have direct LOR links to available templates, or it will include a series of downloadable ZIP files.  One available, this page will either have direct LOR links to available templates, or it will include a series of downloadable ZIP files.
